Tathagata Buddha resides in the Thunder Monastery on Spirit Mountain. At the Jade Emperor's request, he subdued Sun Wukong and pressed him under Five Elements Mountain. He sent Guanyin to find a scripture seeker and transmitted the Three Baskets of True Scriptures. He saw through the Six-Eared Macaque, subdued the Great Roc, and handled the incident of the wordless scriptures. He rewarded the Tang monk and his disciples with positions.
