The short version

This site has no accounts, no sign-in, collects no personal information, and runs no analytics. We do not know what you read here.

What we do not collect

The site is a set of static pages with no registration, login, or comments, so it collects no names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, payment details, or account data. There is no Google Analytics or comparable third-party tracking script. Unless you write to us, we hold nothing that identifies you.

Server and CDN logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. As with any website, the host generates technical logs in transit (IP address, timestamp, user agent) for security and troubleshooting, handled and retained under the host’s own policy. We do not read, export, or analyse those logs, and we do not use them to profile visitors.

Advertising and third-party cookies

This site currently serves no advertising and loads no ad code. If that changes, we will update this page before any ads run and state plainly that third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Google’s use of advertising cookies, and how to opt out of personalised advertising, is described at Google’s advertising technologies page. We would also add a consent mechanism where one is required. Until then, this page describes everything the site does with data.

If you write to us

If you email the site contact address with a correction or a question, we receive your address and your message. We use them only to check the point and reply — never for anything else, and never shared with third parties. You can ask us to delete our correspondence at any time.

External links

The site may link to external sites such as Wikisource to identify a source text. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this one does not apply to them.

Children

The site is written for a general readership, is not directed at children, and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes and contact
