Son of Sun He, ascended the throne after Sun Xiu's death, posthumously honored his father, later killed Sun Fen and others. Grandson of Sun Quan, enfeoffed as Marquis of Wucheng by Sun Xiu, later became the last emperor of Wu. Enfeoffed as Marquis of Wucheng by Sun Xiu.

Sun Hao was the grandson of Sun Quan, son of Sun He, and nephew of Sun Xiu, enfeoffed as Marquis of Wucheng. After Sun Xiu's death, Sun Hao ascended the throne as the ruler of Wu. During his reign, he was cruel and tyrannical, and later surrendered to the army of Wang Jun.

History vs. fiction
In the official history, when Sun Hao surrendered to Jin and had a dialogue with Sima Yan, the latter also set up this seat. The novel faithfully records his quick wit after the fall of his kingdom.
In the Records of the Three Kingdoms, Book of Wu, Biography of the Later Sovereign, it is recorded that 'Sun Hao' was the last emperor of Wu. Pei's annotation quotes the Annals of Han and Jin, recording that when Sun Hao surrendered to Jin, Emperor Wu of Jin said to Hao, 'I have set this seat for you for a long time.' Hao replied, 'I also set this seat for Your Majesty in the south.' In Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Chapter 120, after Wang Jun pacified Wu, Sun Hao faced the emperor. 'The emperor granted him a seat and said, "I have set this seat for you for a long time." Hao replied, "I also set this seat for Your Majesty in the south."' The dialogue completely matches the official history.
