Emperor of the Wu kingdom, enfeoffed Sun Hao as Marquis of Wucheng, later Sun Hao posthumously honored Sun He as Emperor Wen. Sixth son of Sun Quan, third emperor of the Wu kingdom, executed the powerful minister Sun Chen. Emperor of the Wu kingdom, predecessor of Sun Hao, established Lady Zhu as empress, and established his son Sun Wan as crown prince.

Sun Xiu was the Prince of Langya and was established as the ruler of Wu. After ascending the throne, he executed the powerful minister Sun Chen. When Shu Han was in crisis, he sent troops to rescue. Later, following Hua He's advice, he strengthened defenses. In his later years, he became ill from worry and took to his bed, summoned Prime Minister Puyang Xing to the palace, had the crown prince Sun Wan come out to pay respects, and then died.
