Randeng is an immortal of the Chan Sect. He presided over the breaking of the Ten Absolute Formations, arranged to intercept Grand Tutor Wen, and healed King Wu. He subdued Ma Shan, discussed with Guangchengzi how to deal with Yin Jiao, escaped from the Yellow River Formation to invite the Primordial Heavenly Lord, and wounded the Heavenly Lord Tongtian with the Calming Sea Pearl.
