Wei general, accepted the surrender of Jiang Wei and others. Wei general, rebelled under the false order of the Empress Dowager. Wei general, recommended Pei Kai to Sima Zhao.
In fiction · Romance of the Three Kingdoms
Zhong Hui was the son of Grand Tutor Zhong Yao, served as Secretariat Director and Vice Director of the Imperial Secretariat, and was known for his talent. Later appointed General of the Western Expedition, he and Deng Ai attacked Shu by separate routes, captured Hanzhong, and paid respects at Zhuge Liang's tomb. After the conquest of Shu, he conspired with Jiang Wei to rebel, but the plot failed and he was killed by a hail of arrows.
