A senior official of the state of Qin, recommended to Qin by Prince Zhi. He recommended Baili Xi to Duke Mu, led troops to escort Yiwu into Jin, stayed in Jin to demand territory, captured Duke Hui of Jin, advised Duke Mu to release Duke Hui, escorted Duke Hui back to Jin, welcomed Chong'er to Qin, conveyed marriage arrangements, stationed troops west of the Yellow River, lured and killed Lü and Xi, prepared boats at Baili Xi's request, replaced Baili Xi as Right Chief Minister, went on a mission to the Zhou court, and retired due to old age.
