In fiction · Journey to the West
Qin Guang Wang is one of the Ten Kings of the Underworld, residing in the First Court. When Sun Wukong caused havoc in the underworld, Qin Guang Wang and other kings dealt with him together. Later, following the order of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, the Lord of the Underworld, Qin Guang Wang presented a memorial to the Heavenly Court. In the incident of the true and false Monkey King, Qin Guang Wang, as the King of the First Court, was responsible for reporting to the other kings.
