One of the four frontier earls of the Shang Dynasty, the Southern Earl, commanding two hundred vassal towns in the south. Later, because he submitted a direct memorial and argued with Chong Houhu, he was beheaded by King Zhou. His son subsequently led troops to attack Sanshan Pass and participated in the Mengjin alliance against Shang.
