A general under Emperor Taizong, participated in the Xuanwu Gate Incident. He was the Grand General of the Right Brave Guard, attacked Tuyuhun; a famous general of the early Tang, followed Emperor Taizong in campaigns, was enfeoffed as Duke of Fan, and his portrait was hung in the Lingyan Pavilion.
