Is “In the Battle of Fancheng, his seven armies were flooded and he surrendered to Guan Yu” true?

The Records of the Three Kingdoms, Book of Wei, Biography of Yu Jin records that Guan Yu took advantage of the Han River's sudden rise to capture Yu Jin alive, and Yu Jin begged to surrender and was imprisoned; later he returned to Wei and died of illness. The original text: 「秋，大霖雨，汉水溢，平地水数丈，禁等七军皆没。禁与诸将登高望水，无所回避，羽乘大船就攻禁等，禁遂降」（Source: Book of Wei, Biographies of Zhang Yue, Yu Jin, and Zhang Liao）
