Is “What injury did Xi Ke suffer in battle?” true?

However, the Chronicles of the Eastern Zhou Kingdoms, chapter 56, clearly states that he was wounded in the left ribs: 'Xi Ke was just beating the drum to advance the troops when he was also struck by an arrow in the left ribs, blood spattered to his shoes, and the drumbeat slowed.
