Is “The manner and circumstances of Wang Yun's death.” true?

The novel describes that after Li Jue and Guo Si attacked Chang'an, Wang Yun jumped from the Xuanping Gate tower, shouted his name, and was then killed by the two rebels below the tower (Chapter 9 of Romance of the Three Kingdoms: "Wang Yun jumped down from the Xuanping Gate tower, shouting: 'Wang Yun is here!' ... The two rebels raised their hands and killed Wang Yun below the tower.").
