Wu and Jin first communicated, and agreed to attack Chu.' The novel 'Chronicles of the Eastern Zhou Kingdoms' describes his remonstration against King Zhuang of Chu accepting Xia Ji, his eventual escape to Jin with Xia Ji, and his plan to ally with Wu to contain Chu, which is completely consistent with historical records and is a faithful narration of real historical events.
