Zhenwu is the lord of Taihe Palace on Mount Wudang. When Sun Wukong was subduing demons, he sought Zhenwu's help, and Zhenwu sent the Turtle and Snake Generals and the Five Divine Dragons to assist. Earlier, he had also lent the black vulture banner to others.
