Zhang Rang was a eunuch at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, leader of the Ten Attendants, honored as 'foster father' by Emperor Ling. The eunuch group monopolized power and disrupted governance. Later, Zhang Rang killed Jian Shuo, then He Jin, kidnapped the young emperor, and drowned himself in a river. The remaining members of the Ten Attendants were chopped into mincemeat.
