A native of Gaoling, Fengyi. He successively served as the Magistrate of Xinfeng, Governor of Jingzhao, and Inspector of Yongzhou, and was enfeoffed as the Marquis of Wushi Village. Later, as Inspector of Liangzhou, he was renowned for his benevolent governance and was enfeoffed as the Marquis of Guannei, with the posthumous title of Marquis Su. As Governor of Jingzhao, he was succeeded by Yang Pei.
