In fiction · Journey to the West
King Yuhua was the ruler of Yuhua Prefecture, a member of the Tianzhu imperial clan, who revered monks and Taoists. When Tang Sanzang and his disciples passed through, he warmly received them and requested martial arts instruction, and his three sons became disciples. Later, when their weapons were taken by the Nine-Headed Lion, King Yuhua was captured but eventually rescued.
