The 'Book of the Later Han: Biography of Yang Biao' records Yang Biao's advice against moving the capital, his response to Cao Cao about 'an old ox licking its calf,' and his refusal of Wei titles after the abdication. 'Romance of the Three Kingdoms' vividly preserves his image as a loyal minister of the Han.
