Wu Qian was a general under Huang Feihu and his sworn younger brother. When Huang Feihu was forced by King Zhou to rebel against Shang, Wu Qian helped devise strategies to capture strategic passes like Lingtong Pass, escorting the Huang family to Xiqi, and later served as a Zhou army general on the battlefield.
