Jiang Ziya's sworn elder brother and early friend, who took in and supported him when Ziya was down and out after descending the mountain, setting him up with a fortune-telling shop and business ventures, and advised Ziya to divorce his wife Ma when she provoked unreasonably. He had already passed away by the time Ziya went west to raise an army.
