The King of Miefa Kingdom had vowed to kill ten thousand monks. When the pilgrimage team passed through the kingdom, Sun Wukong shaved the heads of the king and all his court officials. The king then realized his error, gave up the intention to kill monks, and turned to revere Buddhism.
