Jiutian Yingyuan Tianzun is the master of the Thunder Department. When Sun Wukong went to heaven to pray for rain, the Heavenly Lord dispatched the four thunder generals Deng, Xin, Zhang, and Tao, along with the Lightning Lady, to descend to the mortal world and make thunder at Fengxian County.
