In fiction · Investiture of the Gods
Jiang Huanchu was the Dongbohou of the Shang dynasty, commanding the two hundred vassals of Donglu, and was one of the Four Marcher Lords. His daughter, Queen Jiang, was the principal consort of King Zhou. Because he was falsely accused of conspiring with Queen Jiang, he was summoned to Zhaoge by King Zhou and executed, and after death his body was subjected to the punishment of being minced.
