In fiction · Journey to the West
Chen Cheng was the head of Chen Family Village, aged sixty-three, with a daughter named Yichengjin. Troubled by the sacrificial rites, he and his younger brother Chen Qing offered the boy Chen Guanbao and the girl Yichengjin. After the pilgrimage for scriptures, Chen Cheng invited Tang Sanzang to his home and built the Jiusheng Temple.
