Is “Are Zhang Hu's detailed campaigns during Zhuge Liang's northern expeditions all attested in official history?” true?

Records of the Three Kingdoms only notes that Zhang Hu inherited Zhang Liao's title; Romance of the Three Kingdoms expands this to have him accompany the army in battle, and adds episodes such as being captured by Zhuge Liang and released with his face painted. For instance, chapter 100 of Romance of the Three Kingdoms states: 「孔明坐于帐中，左右将张虎、戴陵、乐琳并九十个军，皆缚在帐下……遂将众人衣甲脱了，以墨涂面，步行出阵。」
