Is “Skilled in the arts of the Plain Girl's sexual cultivation” true?

Historical records such as the 'Records of the Grand Historian' in the chapter 'The Hereditary House of Jin' only briefly mention the historical event of the Chu minister Shen Gong Wuchen stealing Xia Ji and fleeing to the state of Jin, without any supernatural descriptions of her. The novel, however, portrays her as a licentious woman who, having been taught the 'arts of the Plain Girl's sexual cultivation' by an immortal in a dream, could absorb yang to supplement yin and retain youth. These supernatural elements have no basis in historical sources and are purely exaggerated and fictionalized by the novel.
