According to the Records of the Grand Historian, 'Hereditary House of Weizi', Weizi, seeing that Shang was about to fall, took the ritual vessels and visited the camp of King Wu; after the Duke of Zhou put down the rebellion, he enfeoffed Weizi at Song to continue the ancestral sacrifices of the Shang.
Weizi
In official history, he is a virtuous member of the Shang royal house and the founding ruler of the state of Song, while in the novel he is portrayed as a representative of internal opposition to King Zhou.
