Is “How did King Wei of Qi treat and employ Sun Bin?” true?

The Records of the Grand Historian, 'The Hereditary House of Tian Jingzhong Wan' has relevant records: 'King Wei of Qi asked about military tactics, and then made him his teacher.' The Chronicles of the Eastern Zhou Kingdoms, Chapter 88, also details the process of employing Sun Bin: 'King Wei asked about military tactics and wanted to appoint him as an official. Sun Bin declined... King Wei followed his advice and had him stay at Tian Ji's residence, where Tian Ji treated him as an honored guest... King Wei sighed: 'Even this small matter shows Sun's wisdom!' From then on, he respected him even more and bestowed countless rewards.' The two books are basically consistent in that King Wei of Qi heavily employed Sun Bin and let him implement major strategies.
