Is “Verification of the figure's deeds” true?

Official histories such as the Biography of Yang Ye record: 'That winter, he again led over a thousand cavalry to the city of Fenzhou, burned its grass market, and withdrew his troops. At night, they camped at Jingtu Plain. Liu Jun sent his general Hao Guichao with over ten thousand troops to attack Hanru. At dawn, they caught up. Hanru sent his supervisor, the vice commissioner of felt and blankets, Yan Yanjin, to divide troops to defend against Guichao. Hanru, wearing a brocade robe over armor, sat on a folding couch to feast his soldiers, and was just cutting a sheep's shoulder blade to feed them.' The romance 'Chapter 01' also records this.
