Is “Participated in the five-route invasion of Shu” true?

In Chapter 85 of Romance of the Three Kingdoms, it is described that Wei raised five armies to attack Shu, and Sima Yi suggested: 'Send an envoy to Kebineng, king of the Xianbei in Liaodong, bribe him with gold and silk, and order him to raise 100,000 Qiang troops from Liaoxi, first taking Xiping Pass by land.' In the official history Records of the Three Kingdoms, Book of Wei, Annals of Emperor Wen, there is no specific record of his participation in this five-route invasion of Shu; only 'The Inspector of Bingzhou, Liang Xi, attacked the Xianbei Kebineng and greatly defeated him.'
