According to Records of the Three Kingdoms, Book of Wei, Biography of Jia Xu, after Dong Zhuo's death, Jia Xu advised Li Jue and Guo Si to counterattack Chang'an, leading to chaos in Guanzhong; he later offered many strategies in Wancheng.
