Is “His subordinate ambushed and shot Sun Jian at Xianshan” true?

According to Records of the Three Kingdoms, Book of Wu, Biography of Sun Polu, when Sun Jian attacked Huang Zu and pursued him by night to Xianshan, he was killed by arrows from an ambush set by Huang Zu's subordinate Lü Gong.
