Is “Did Hu Yegu set an ambush at Xishan Mountain and capture the Qin general Bao Manzi?” true?

In official histories such as the Records of the Grand Historian, there is no such person as the Qin general Bao Manzi, nor is there any record of Hu Yegu capturing this general. In Chapter 45 of the Chronicles of the Eastern Zhou Kingdoms, during the famous Battle of Xiao, the novel invents the fierce Qin general Bao Manzi and arranges for the Jin general Hu Yegu (Jia Ji) to capture him alive: 'Looking up, he saw a general standing on a high cliff, surnamed Hu, named Yegu, styled Jia Ji, who shouted: "Your vanguard Bao Manzi has already been bound here."' This is a fictional general and battle scene added by the novel to enrich the details of the war.
