Is “Suspected the Duke of Zhou and joined the rebellion” true?

According to the Records of the Grand Historian, in the chapter on the houses of Guan and Cai, Guan Shu Xian, because the Duke of Zhou was acting as regent, allied with Cai Shu and Wu Geng to start the Rebellion of the Three Guards, and was later executed by the Duke of Zhou's personal expedition. The Investiture of the Gods and related legends largely follow the official history.
Guan Shu Xian
In both official history and fiction, he is the third son of King Wen of Zhou, who, suspecting the Duke of Zhou of usurping the throne, allied with Wu Geng in rebellion and was executed.
