Is “What was Prince Guang's purpose in befriending warriors?” true?

In the official history, Prince Guang's ambition is as clear as day. The Records of the Grand Historian, Biographies of Assassins, writes: "Wu Zixu knew that Prince Guang wanted to kill King Liao of Wu, so he said: 'That Guang will have internal ambitions; he cannot be spoken to about external affairs.'" In Chronicles of the Eastern Zhou Kingdoms, Chapter 073, through the perspective of Zhuan Zhu, his ambition is packaged as a thirst for talent: "Zhuan Zhu said: 'The King of Wu is fond of bravery and is arrogant; unlike Prince Guang, who is close to the worthy and humble to the learned, he will surely accomplish something in the future.'"
