Is “Whether Diao Chan existed and the authenticity of the serial stratagem” true?

In Chapter 8 of Romance of the Three Kingdoms, it is fictionalized that Wang Yun cleverly employed the serial stratagem, using his adopted daughter "Diao Chan" to sow discord between Dong Zhuo and Lü Bu. However, in official history, the specific character "Diao Chan" does not exist. In Records of the Three Kingdoms, Book of Wei, Biographies of Lü Bu, Zhang Miao, and Zang Hong, it is only recorded that "Dong Zhuo often had Lü Bu guard the inner chambers, and Lü Bu had a secret affair with Dong Zhuo's maidservant, fearing that it would be discovered, and felt uneasy." The Diao Chan and the serial stratagem in the novel are both fictionalized and evolved from this "maidservant."
