According to the Records of the Three Kingdoms, Book of Wei, Biography of Cao Zhen, Cao Zhen predicted that Zhuge Liang would attack Chencang, so he sent Hao Zhao to fortify the city, successfully repelling Zhuge Liang's second Northern Expedition.
