Is “The fate of Bao Si after the Quanrong broke through Haojing” true?

The Records of the Grand Historian records that Bao Si was captured and taken away by the Quanrong ("Thereupon they killed King You at the foot of Mount Li, captured Bao Si, and took all the Zhou treasures away" - from "Basic Annals of Zhou, Part 2"). However, the Chronicles of the Eastern Zhou Kingdoms records that Bao Si failed to escape after the defeat and chose to hang herself ("It happened that the sky was bright. Bao Si did not have time to follow, so she hanged herself" - from "Chapter 3").
