A disciple of the Jie Sect, one of the Ten Heavenly Lords of Jin'ao Island, Yuan Jiao. When following Grand Tutor Wen to campaign against Xiqi, he proposed to compete with the Chan Sect in wits and set up the Cold Ice Array. In the end, he was killed by Puxian Zhenren who entered the array.
