General Yin is the tiger spirit of Double Fork Ridge and the local demon king. When Tang Sanzang passed by Double Fork Ridge on his journey west, General Yin captured Tang Sanzang and his followers and prepared to devour them. Tang Sanzang's followers were eaten by him.
