General Who Guards the West of Wei, presented a jade seal from Yongzhou troops. Son of Wei Ji, served as General Who Guards the West during Xianxi period, later became Minister of Works in Jin. Supervisor of the army in Wei, ordered to arrest Deng Ai, later sent Tian Xu to kill him.
In fiction · Romance of the Three Kingdoms
Wei Guan was the supervisor of the army in Wei, accompanying Zhong Hui on the campaign, and once advised Zhong Hui not to kill Zhuge Xu. Later, under orders from Sima Zhao, he supervised Zhong Hui and Deng Ai. When Zhong Hui rebelled, Wei Guan devised a plan to arrest Deng Ai and his son, and participated in quelling Zhong Hui's rebellion.
