A Song dynasty general who participated in quelling southern rebellions.
The official history 'History of Song' in the chapter on eunuchs records: 'The generals Liu Yanqing, Wang Bing, Wang Huan, Yang Weizhong, and Xin Xingzong arrived one after another and recovered all the lost cities.' He participated in suppressing the rebellion. The novel 'Water Margin' in chapter 118 records: 'The great general Wang Bing of the Song army then engaged in single combat with the southern commander Jing De.' It fictionalizes a specific face-to-face duel.
