Tao Rong was originally one of the Four Generals of Huanghua Mountain, holding the Wind-Gathering Banner. After being subdued by Grand Preceptor Wen, he followed the campaign and fought against Nan Gongshi and others, ultimately being stabbed to death by Huang Tianxiang.
