Taiyin Xingjun is the lord of the Moon Palace, commanding all the Chang'e. When the Tang monk and his disciples encountered the false princess, the Jade Rabbit spirit, causing chaos, Taiyin Xingjun personally descended to the mortal world, ordered the turning of the immortal banner, and with the Chang'e, took back the Jade Rabbit, and revealed the princess's true identity, resolving the calamity.
