Sun Shu'ao孙叔敖
Sun Shu'ao was the son of Wei Jia. He helped his mother take refuge. A man of virtue and talent, he served as Prime Minister and was skilled in military affairs. He advocated retreat and admonished King Zhuang. He died of illness, and in his final memorial recommended the worthy and advised his son to decline the fief.

Prime Minister of Chu. He built the city of Yi, assigning tasks to the city official. He selected the excellent statutes of Chu. As Prime Minister of Chu, he initially did not wish to fight, but later followed the king's orders.
