Emperor Taizu of Liang, he was wary of Zhang Jun and sent assassins to kill him. During a personal expedition to Yunzhou, he saw crows cawing, and later escaped danger. As the ruler of Liang, he received Xue Zhaowei and presented him with a falcon.
