In fiction · Journey to the West
The Princess of Baoxiang Kingdom was originally the Jade Maiden of Pixiang Hall. Because of a secret affair with the Wood Wolf Star, she was reincarnated in the mortal world. Later, she was abducted by the Yellow-Robed Monster, who forced her to be his wife and imprisoned her in the Moon Wave Cave on Bowl Mountain. When Tang Sanzang and his disciples passed through Baoxiang Kingdom and learned of this, Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing went to rescue her. Eventually, with the help of Sun Wukong, the princess was rescued and returned to her kingdom.
